Three J Youth Partners with Hudson Shipping to Launch Future in the Current for 2026

Three J Youth and Hudson Shipping introduce Future in the Current for 2026, opening a window into STEM, environmental responsibility, and maritime careers.

Three J Youth partnered with Hudson Shipping to launch Future in the Current, a STEM education program for 2026 connecting young people with global shipping, environmental responsibility, and the possibilities of maritime innovation.

Designed for youth ages 11–18, Future in the Current connects science, technology, engineering, and mathematics with real-world questions: How do ships transport everyday goods? What can make shipping cleaner? How might young people help shape the next generation of maritime technology?

The program explores shipping systems, ocean protection, emerging technologies, and career pathways. Its environmental focus emphasizes pollution prevention and cleaner solutions, encouraging young people to consider how innovation can better protect the air, oceans, and communities we share.

For Three J Youth, the partnership supports a larger purpose: helping young people discover opportunities they may not have considered and recognize their potential to contribute. Maritime education offers a way to connect classroom curiosity with industries, challenges, and careers beyond students’ everyday experiences.

Future in the Current invites young people to ask questions, explore possibilities, and imagine themselves as tomorrow’s engineers, problem-solvers, and leaders.

Explore Future in the Current and discover how today’s curiosity can inspire tomorrow’s ideas.
