Young people explore the systems behind transportation and global shipping and begin to see how much of everyday life depends on a world that is constantly moving.
The conversation expands beyond how systems work to how choices, transportation, industry, and environmental responsibility can influence the air, oceans, and communities we share.
Innovation gives young people permission to ask better questions: What could be cleaner? What could be smarter? What could be more efficient? And what has not been invented yet?
Learning about the future should also open the door to leadership, careers, problem solving, and the realization that young people can become part of the teams creating what comes next.

Future in the Current is not only about understanding industries and innovation. It is also about helping young people recognize that somebody will design, lead, improve, operate, and rethink the systems of tomorrow. That somebody can be them.
