Cartwright ES Receives $50,000 Grant to Enhance STREAM Program
Roberta C. Cartwright Elementary School received a $50,000 check on Friday from NextEra Energy Resources to help expand the hands-on Science, Technology, Research, Engineering, Arts and Math (STREAM) program at the school. The funds help the school provide Project Lead the Way (PLTW) curriculum for students, coding instruction as well as professional development for STEM teachers.
Clark County School District (CCSD) Deputy Superintendent of Teaching and Learning Dr. Jesse Welsh and Trustee Ramona Esparza-Stoffregan were on hand for the check presentation.
CCSD continues to focus on building more community partnerships, such as this one with NextEra Energy Resources, which play a crucial role in supporting our students.
CCSD thanks NextEra Energy Resources for this investment in our students and staff!
