Green Valley HS Receives “Suffs The Musical” Grant

The Green Valley High School Performing Arts Department is excited to announce that they are one of ten schools in the country to be awarded production grants to perform “Suffs The Musical!” 

“Suffs The Musical” focuses on the American women’s suffrage movement and the fight for the 19th Amendment. 

This grant was awarded to only ten schools in the U.S. who demonstrated civic engagement, student empowerment, and community impact through the arts. Along with the production, students will also create outreach initiatives that are inspired by the show’s theme, which celebrates the role that young people have in driving social change.
