This Volunteer Terms and Agreement (“Agreement”) outlines the expectations, responsibilities, and guidelines for individuals volunteering with Three J Youth (“Organization”). By participating as a volunteer, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions outlined below.

1. Volunteer Responsibilities:

1.1 As a volunteer, you will actively engage in the mentorship and support of at-risk youth in accordance with the Organization’s programs.

1.2 You will attend and participate in training sessions, mentorship activities, and planned events as required by the Organization.

1.3 You will maintain a respectful, inclusive, and supportive attitude towards mentees, fellow volunteers, staff, and the community at large.

1.4 You will uphold the values and mission of Three J Youth, promoting positive change, mentorship, and personal growth.

2. Confidentiality:

2.1 You will respect the confidentiality of all information shared by mentees, fellow volunteers, and the Organization.

2.2 You will not disclose personal, sensitive, or confidential information to unauthorized individuals or entities.

3. Professional Conduct:

3.1 You will act professionally, responsibly, and ethically while representing Three J Youth.

3.2 You will refrain from engaging in any activities that could harm the reputation of the Organization or its beneficiaries.

4. Safety and Well-being:

4.1 You will prioritize the safety and well-being of the mentees, ensuring their physical and emotional security at all times.

4.2 You will report any concerns, incidents, or emergencies promptly to the designated Organization representatives.

5. Commitment:

5.1 You will commit to the agreed-upon volunteer schedule and fulfill the responsibilities assigned to you.

5.2 If unable to fulfill your commitment, you will provide timely notice to the Organization to arrange for suitable alternatives.

6. Compliance with Policies:

6.1 You will adhere to all organizational policies, guidelines, and procedures related to volunteering.

7. Media Release:

7.1 You grant permission to the Organization to use your likeness, photographs, and videos taken during volunteer activities for promotional and educational purposes.

8. Termination:

8.1 The Organization reserves the right to terminate your volunteer involvement if you fail to adhere to the terms of this Agreement or engage in behavior deemed detrimental to the Organization’s mission.

9. Liability Waiver:

9.1 While every effort is made to ensure the safety of volunteers and participants, you acknowledge that volunteering may involve inherent risks, and you agree to hold the Organization harmless in the event of any accidents or injuries.

10. Agreement Duration:

10.1 This Agreement is effective from the date of acceptance and remains in effect until either party terminates the volunteer relationship.
