School Bus Heroes

Program Overview:

In 2020, in the face of the pandemic’s unprecedented challenges, we launched the School Bus Heroes initiative to reignite the spark of learning for over 200,000 Nevada students who had lost connection with traditional schooling. Our board of directors took bold action, supercharging mentorship programs to help students break through the barriers holding them back, both in and out of the classroom. The impact of School Bus Heroes has been nothing short of transformative, bringing positive change to communities across Nevada. This success wouldn’t be possible without our incredible community partners—local leaders, media outlets, and vendors—who have stood by our side every step of the way. But our work is far from over.
