It’s been quite a few days for Coronado High basketball player Munir Greig.
The junior on Friday led the Cougars to their first state championship in nearly 25 years of existence. And on Monday, the accolades started to pour in as the power forward was named Nevada MaxPreps Player of the Year.
Greig, a transfer from the Philadelphia area, averaged 18 points, seven rebounds and 4.4 assists per game.
